The Allan Government is providing McKinnon Primary School with a new building - and we've just appointed a builder to get it done!

The new building will be located on the eastern side of Tucker Road (check out artist impression above) and will enable the removal of relocatable classrooms on the western side. The project also includes an upgrade of the main building.

Back in 1999, the then Liberal Government had plans to close the school. Thankfully, these plans did not proceed. All these years later, the school is thriving with around 800 students and, very soon, brand new classrooms.
