The upgrade of the pavilion at Highett Reserve is well underway and nearing completion. When I visited the pavilion and was shown the state of the umpire rooms, I was keen to secure a refurbishment of the building. The project, which is funded jointly by the State Government and Kingston Council, will deliver two player change rooms and an umpire change room suitable for women and girls, as well as a first aid room and storage.
