New green for Moorabbin Bowls Club

Moorabbin Bowls Club is getting a brand new green, State Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos has announced.

The Andrews Labor Government will be contributing $125,000 from the Community Sports Infrastructure Fund towards the project.

The works will include restoration of the third green, including excavation, drainage, irrigation, seating, shelter and lights. The remaining funds needed for the $295,000 project will be met by Kingston Council and the club.

The new green will be named after club stalwart Jan Shaw.
