New classrooms for Ormond Primary School

Students at Ormond Primary School will soon have new classrooms, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos has announced the primary school will receive $2.3 million in the Victorian Budget 2018/19 for an exciting new upgrade.

The funding will provide new classrooms and an upgraded admin area.

The Labor Government is building the Education State so every Victorian student can get a great education and every community has access to a great local school.

The school building boom has so far delivered more than 1,200 school upgrades and 64 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.

This contrasts with the Liberals and Nationals who let schools crumble and decay, while slashing $1 billion from the education budget.
