McKinnon Secondary’s second campus a step closer

K2LD Architects has been appointed to plan and design McKinnon Secondary College’s second campus.

State Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos announced the appointment today, which was made possible with $4.1 million planning funding from the Andrews Labor Government’s 2018 Budget.

The Labor Government is building the Education State so every Victorian student can get a great education and every community has access to a great local school.

This includes an unprecedented $3.8 billion investment to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools across the state.

This school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.

Quotes attributable to Nick Staikos MP

“With 2200 students, McKinnon Secondary College is a very big school – and getting bigger. That’s why we are adding a second campus.”

“Unlike the Liberals, we don’t close schools. We build them.”
