A builder has been appointed to construct the final stage of the redevelopment of Bayside Special Developmental School.

Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos today announced that HLC Constructions Pty Ltd has been appointed to complete the $3.445 million upgrade, which builds on the first stage of the project completed in 2019.

The final stage of the masterplan includes the demolition of the final remaining former Moorabbin High School building at the back of the site, which will be replaced with specialist learning facilities.
