Brand new playground for Moorabbin Primary School
Students at Moorabbin Primary School will soon enjoy a great array of new playground equipment thanks to a $100,000 funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.
Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos today announced the funding to remodel the adventure playground on the school’s front oval and upgrade the equipment.
The Labor Government’s strategy to build the Education State includes ensuring students and their communities have access to great sporting facilities and spend more time engaged in physical activity.
It has a target to increase by 20 per cent the number of students exercising for one hour a day, five times a week by the year 2025.
The Labor Government is investing $2.5 billion to upgrade existing schools and build new ones so that students have the highest quality learning environments and every student, no matter where they live, has access to a great education.
