Bentleigh Greek Orthodox community to receive funding boost

The Greek Orthodox Parish of Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene has received a funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.

The Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund supports culturally diverse communities to feel connected with their traditional culture as they participate in and contribute to our wider society.

The Labor Government is promoting an inclusive society where every Victorian is able to preserve and share their culture and traditions, and have spaces that they can make their own.

The grant of $32,500 will go towards improvements in the church as well as the hall, which is used by a senior citizens group. Improvements will include air-conditioning, kitchen appliances, tables and a safety rail in the church.
