Architect appointed for Tucker Road’s new building
An architect has been appointed for the next stage of the rebuild of Tucker Road Bentleigh Primary School.
Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos today announced that MSM & Associates has been appointed to design the school’s $4.5 million upgrade. They are the same architects who build the school’s fantastic new gymnasium, opened last year.
The new upgrade will include a new building with administration offices, classrooms and a canteen.
The Andrews Labor Government has invested $5.6 billion to deliver more than 1,400 school upgrades, supporting over 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
Under the Labor Government’s school building boom, a total of 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.
This building boom will continue over the coming years, with the Government having appointed builders to start delivering 11 schools across the state that will open in 2020 and 14 schools that will open in 2021.
The Labor Government is building the Education State to ensure that every student can access a great local school and get a quality education.
